Hot Air Balloon Safaris are offered in the Masai Mara - Keekorok Lodge, Mara Safari Club and Mara Serena Lodge.

Your adventure begins just before dawn. Optimum atmospheric conditions for Hot Air Balloon flights here in Kenya are very early in the morning.  Your anticipation begins the evening before as you look forward to the thrill of the following morning.

Rise early and transfer to your launch site.  As the sun’s golden glow tinges the eastern horizon, the ground crew complete the necessary preparations to ensure a safe and enjoyable flight.  Your pilot gives you a last minute briefing on safety procedures and the powerful burners are ignited to bring the colorful craft to life.

You are helped aboard by the crew after one final check by the pilot, the aerostat is heated up and you are airborne as you rise gracefully into the air as stunning panorama unfolds before you. The wilds of Africa! You realize that each flight is unique. The flight takes approximately 1 hour as it silently soars over the vast Masai Mara eco-system & the snaking Mara River.

The balloons land in the open plains of the Masai Mara. You return to earth - Celebration! The champagne corks pop into the air while the hosts & chef scurry to set up your buffet breakfast near your landing site as you toast your return. At the end of your Hot Air Balloon Safari the vehicles work their way back to your lodge/camp with a short game drive en-route.
